In the blue of the sky
Two years after the great success of her concert medial light production "About Life" Brigitte Satori Constantinescu and Edith Quis are now showing their new work in the Pauluskirche to premiere.
"Space fantasies - in blue the sky" is a visionary staging that leads from the blue of the sky into the infinity of the universe. Sound design, video type and lighting staging create its own cosmos in the sacred space of the Pauluskirche, which makes the boundaries between music, light and space disappear.
Inspired by the mysterious worlds of the universe, the artists take their visitors in surreal landscapes from sparkling stars, exploding sky bodies and fairytale stars. The image-sound worlds are less documentation of scientific recordings than visions of creative imagination, dreams closer to the dreams than the eyepieces.

In search of an artistic expression for the "endless space", Brigitte Satori Constantinescu went into a long experimental phase of free association, in which various technical possibilities and expression variants were explored. In the end, a virtual universe was created that combines personal experiences, impressions and fantasies, supplemented by visual details from different art pokes.
The music of Edith Quis, which is specially composed for this project, and the artistic sound design by Klaus Endel, in combination with innovative 3D audio_ technology, create atmospheric effects of the highest intensity. The lighting staging of Johanna Krimmel finally turns the sacred space of the Pauluskirche into a space of infinite width with augmented reality effects and video mapping. The evening is opened by Lukas Euler and his organ improvisation "sparkling sound worlds".
