Reptiles, fish and microscopy - educational program during the summer vacation
The Vivarium Darmstadt Zoo offers a varied program for children during the summer holidays. The focus is on exciting guided tours and hands-on workshops, in which the participants learn more about reptiles, fish, pets and the work of a zoo. The microscopy is also conveyed in a age -appropriate manner.
The summer vacation program starts on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, and includes the following dates:
- Tuesday, July 8 : Leadership "Reptiles" (10 a.m.)
- Friday, July 11 : Workshop "Why pets are farm animals" (10 am to 12pm)
- Monday, July 14th : Leadership "How does a zoo work?" (10 O `clock)
- Wednesday, July 16 : Leadership "Diversity of Fish" (10 a.m.)
- Monday, July 28 : Leadership "Reptiles" (10 a.m.)
- Wednesday, July 30 : Workshop "Why pets are farm animals" (10 am to 12pm)
- Friday, August 1st : Workshop "Microscopy for Kids" (10 am to 12pm)
The meeting point is the zoo school . Participation in the tours costs 4.50 euros , the workshops cost 9 euros - plus zoo entry .
