Participation online for the first time and possible in six languages
As the Darmstadt press office reports, the science city of Darmstadt starts in cooperation with the "Frankfurt Lab for Set-Mobility" at the Goethe University in Frankfurt in March 2025 the fourth budget survey as part of the project "Sustainable Mobility in Lincoln III" (Namoli III). The aim is to analyze mobility development in the Lincoln settlement and in other districts of Darmstadt and derive recommendations for future traffic policy measures.
For the first time, the survey is also online and is available in six languages to enable a broad target group to participate.
Lincoln settlement as a model project for sustainable mobility
The Lincoln settlement is considered a showcase project for sustainable mobility. The concept there relies on car sharing, bike rental systems and a close connection to public transport enable everyday life without your own car
As with the last survey in 2023, the current survey not only includes mobility behavior not only of Lincoln residents , but also by new citizens in other parts of the city . In this way, findings are to be gained about how the mobility behavior of people changes who change their place of residence.
