Premiere on August 30th in the Darmstadt community garden
DARMSTADT – The Theater of Memories premiere its new play, "Waves, Surges, Companions," on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. A second performance will follow on Sunday, August 31, also at 7:30 p.m. The performance will take place in the community garden at Prinz-Emil-Garten (Niederstraße 27, 64285 Darmstadt). Tickets cost €16. The event is organized by Nachbarschaftsheim Darmstadt e. V.
For over a year, the ensemble, comprised of enthusiastic senior citizens, worked together with the Lakritz Theatre on the new production. Under the guiding theme of "Water of Life," the biographical production leads the audience through oceans of memories, still waters, rainy days, and fresh sea breezes.
The result is an open-air musical theatre project for all generations that combines personal stories, music and acting.
