Premiere on August 30th in the Darmstadt Neighborhood Garden
DARMSTADT – The Theater der Erinnerungen (Theater of Memories) premiere its new play "Wellen, Wogen, Wegbegleiten" (Wellen, Wogen, Weggefährten) on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. A second performance will follow on Sunday, August 31, also at 7:30 p.m. The performance will take place in the neighborhood garden at Prinz-Emil-Garten (Niederstraße 27, 64285 Darmstadt). Admission is €16. The event is organized by the Nachbarschaftsheim Darmstadt e. V. (Neighborhood Center Darmstadt ).
For over a year, the ensemble, consisting of enthusiastic senior citizens, worked together with Theater Lakritz on the new production. Under the leitmotif "Water of Life," the biographical production takes us through oceans of memories, still waters, rainy days, and fresh sea breezes.
The result is an open-air musical theatre project for all generations that combines personal stories, music and acting.
