As the press office of the city of Griesheim announces, the “Traveling House of Materials” by Ubuntu will be making another stop in Griesheim from June 1st.
The Mobile Youth Work team invites children and young people to the free, hands-on project "Places of Imagination". It starts on Monday, June 1st, at 3:30 pm in the square between the high-rise buildings on Flughafenstraße.
Mobile workshop full of creative materials
The "Traveling House of Materials" is a brightly painted minibus used as a mobile creative workshop. Equipped with recycled materials such as wood, plastic, fabrics, paints, and metal, children and teenagers can create their own artwork and craft projects.
The service is free, open to everyone and can be used without registration.
Several dates planned until October
Several events are planned this year at different locations in Griesheim.
The project will take place on Flughafenstrasse on Mondays, June 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd, from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
Further dates are available from August at St. Stephen's Square and from September in the Kirschberg area between houses D and E.
