Regional advertising project finances new company car
The town of Riedstadt has received a new vehicle for its administration free of charge. The vehicle will primarily be used by the IT Service and E-Government department for operations at the town's branch offices.
Vehicle financed by regional companies
The initiative for the project came from the company Riedel & Wagner. The company proposed providing the city with a vehicle free of charge, financed entirely through advertising space provided by regional businesses.
The white Ford Transit Courier features the coat of arms logo of the city of Büchner, as well as advertising slogans of participating companies from the region.
Mayor speaks of a win-win situation
Mayor Marcus Kretschmann described the project as a "win-win situation" for all involved. The city benefits from a vehicle provided free of charge, while the companies gain a visible advertising platform in public spaces.
At the same time, the local economy will be strengthened.
Deployment for IT service and administration
The vehicle is primarily available to the IT Service and E-Government department, but can also be used by other city administration employees if needed.
Kretschmann emphasized that a purchase using the city's own budget would not have been possible at this time. This made the commitment of the participating businesses all the more important.
