Public Evensong with Circlesinging on Saturday, 27 September, at 6 p.m.
More than 100 young people will gather at Darmstadt's St. Paul's Church on Saturday, September 27, for the Protestant Church's Youth Choir Day . Under the motto "Life is a circle," the Protestant Church invites people throughout Germany to this special event.
Singing in a circle as a new experience
From 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., young people ages 11 and up will form a large choir together and learn about circle singing —an improvisational form of singing in which small motifs are repeated by individual groups in a choir. The day concludes at 6 p.m. with a public Evensong with circle singing at St. Paul's Church (Niebergallweg 20).
