The Weststadtcafé will feature concerts, participatory music, and a musical finale with a DJ on September 5th
The Christina Cooks Music School Darmstadt is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a summer festival at the Weststadtcafé in Darmstadt on Saturday, September 5th . The program begins at 4 pm and includes performances by students as well as concerts by various ensembles and musicians.
The opening act is the Ukrainian duo "spektral abyss," featuring Christina Cooks on piano and Martin Sadowski on guitar. Younger guests can also enjoy the interactive music session "Singing with David." At 4:30 p.m., students will showcase their talents in the concert "Children Playing for Children.".
Music program for the 15th anniversary
From 6 p.m. onwards, musical performances will be given by Taquikuna, the Sopranixen, Ana and Christina Cooks, the guitar duo Jimenez/Sadowski, and Denise Frey. From 10 p.m. onwards, Lala Umpf will take over the decks and provide the musical finale to the summer festival.
Admission is free.
