BUND and the young adult education center are offering three creative afternoons for children aged six and up during the autumn holidays
The BUND Darmstadt (Friends of the Earth Germany) and the youth adult education center are offering a felting workshop focusing on wild and honey bees . Children aged six and up can work with wool on three afternoons at the Center for Urban Nature in Darmstadt.
The sessions will take place from October 13th to 15th, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 6 pm each day. Individual afternoons can be booked separately.
Bees, blossoms and flower meadows made of felt
Under the title "Wool felting for bee lovers," participants can create various designs. These include, for example, wild and honey bees, blossoms, flower meadows, or beekeeping equipment.
Younger children in particular can be supported by a chaperone.
Registration is through the Darmstadt Adult Education Center (Volkshochschule Darmstadt) under the section "Politics and Society, Ecology, Climate and Nature Conservation". Material costs are paid on site.
Dates: Tuesday, October 13, to Thursday, October 15, 2026, 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily.
Age: from six years old.
Location: BUND Center for Urban Nature, Klappacher Straße 27, 64285 Darmstadt.
Access: Orangerie, first gate on the left.
