Griesheim is expanding its communication channels: Starting Monday, May 4, 2026, the city will also be active on the Facebook and Instagram platforms with its own channels. There, current information, event announcements, and insights into the work of the city administration will be regularly published.
Our own social media team develops content
To reflect the diverse topics facing the city, an internal social media team was formed. A total of 15 employees from various departments contribute their perspectives and ideas. The posts are then edited and published by the city's public relations department.
Focus on exchange with the citizens
With this new service, the city aims to strengthen direct communication with its citizens. Comments and discussions are expressly welcome, but should adhere to the city's netiquette.
Other information channels will remain available
In addition to the new social media offerings, the existing information channels will remain in place. These include the city's website, print media, and the city's newsletter.
