More power in the theater in the teacher
After the original lineup expanded to include keyboards and drums, it was only logical to follow this musical metamorphosis with an adjustment of the band name. PONS live! is the logical next step in the evolution of Harald Pons and Nah Dran, but with more "oomph".
PONS means bridge, and the goal of crossing musical bridges remains paramount. Therefore, in addition to the "evergreens" from their old repertoire, such as "A Touch of Late Summer" and "Save the Fools," PONS will also play numerous new tracks that exude a touch of blues, reggae, singer-songwriter, rock, and jazz.
Always fitting the lyrics, which continue to deal with the things that interest "ordinary people." The title track "Normale Leute" (Ordinary People) from the last CD remains a staple of the program, as do tracks like "Super Sexy Oma" (Super Sexy Grandma), "Dr. Faust," and "Irgendwie unsterblich" (Somehow Immortal), which are essential to any show.

“But if we’re in a really good mood and everything’s right, we sometimes play our only radio hit ‘Back to the Sea’ live in a Hessian version,” the musicians say.
PONS are:
Harald Pons, vocals, guitar, Irish bouzouki;
Christoph Mann, guitars, vocals;
Volkmar Hahn, violin, blues harp, vocals;
Tom Steinel, bass;
Thomas Klanitza, keyboard;
Rainer Hofmann-Battiston, drums
