A free information event on March 4th explains the advantages of environmental management for businesses
Sustainability and legal compliance are playing an increasingly important role for companies. Environmental management systems offer a good foundation for using resources more efficiently, identifying potential savings, and improving operational processes. The ÖKOPROFIT program is a proven entry point into this topic.
Since 2004, the Groß-Gerau district with businesses within the framework of ÖKOPROFIT Südhessen. The project supports companies in their sustainable transformation by offering practical workshops and expert guidance from the environmental consulting firm Arqum . In 2023, ÖKOPROFIT was recognized by the EU as a precursor to the demanding EMAS environmental management system.
Online information event on March 4th
On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., the Groß-Gerau district invites you to a free online information event . The agenda includes:
- Jens Böhm (Arqum): Presentation of the content, processes and advantages of ÖKOPROFIT.
- Patrick Ehmann (Climate Protection Department, Groß-Gerau District Administration): Report on the successful participation of the district administration in ÖKOPROFIT.
- Pascal Guthier (RÖHRIGgranit GmbH): Experience report from company practice.
The event also offers ample opportunity for individual questions. All companies in southern Hesse – including those outside the Groß-Gerau district – are invited to participate.
