Starts in Füssen, Erlangen and Weinheim with strong age group results
Athletes from the triathlon division of SG Arheilgen competed in several races across Germany last weekend. From Füssen to Erlangen and Weinheim, they achieved remarkable results.
Ulrike Bickert (W50) , Jutta Cymanek (W55) , and Claudia Jehn (W55) competed in the Royal Castles Marathon in Füssen on Saturday . The three athletes completed the 42.195 kilometers together, crossing the finish line after 5:05:39 and 5:05:40 hours, respectively .
Age group rankings in Erlangen and Weinheim
Also on Saturday, Ingo Schummer (M60) in the Erlangen Triathlon over the sprint distance. With a time of 3:23:49 hours, he finished 15th in his age group.
On Sunday, Barbara Vierling (W40) and Jens Preiss (M40) of the Weinheim Trails, a 15-kilometer race with around 400 meters of elevation gain.
Barbara Vierling finished second in her age group with a time of 1:29:36 . Jens Preiss finished eleventh in his age group with a time of 1:26:39 .
