Workshops on animal husbandry and photography for children and teenagers
The Vivarium Zoo in Darmstadt is offering several workshops for children and teenagers during the autumn holidays. The program includes two photography workshops as well as events on the proper care of guinea pigs and the importance of pets as working animals.
The event kicks off on Wednesday, October 7th, from 10 am to 2 pm with a photography workshop for children and teenagers. The participation fee, including admission, is €69. Another photography workshop will take place on Wednesday, October 14th, also from 10 am to 2 pm.
Workshops about pets
Also on October 7th, from 1 pm to 3 pm, a workshop entitled "How do I keep guinea pigs properly?" will focus on the appropriate care of these animals. Participation costs 9 euros plus admission.
On Thursday, October 8th, from 10 am to 12 pm, the workshop "Why pets are farm animals?" will take place. The participation fee is also 9 euros plus admission.
For the guinea pig workshop and the two photography workshops, the zoo recommends sturdy, weatherproof clothing. The meeting point for the events is the zoo school. Registration is possible by phone at +49 6151 13-46900 or by email to zoo-paedagogik@darmstadt.de .
