The city draws a positive conclusion after the holiday games season
The city of Reinheim's mobile play unit reached numerous children in all parts of the city this year. From the Easter holidays until the end of the summer holiday program, the mobile recreational activity was in operation almost continuously. According to the city, significantly more visitors were welcomed at all locations than in the previous year.
The season kicked off with the Easter event organized by the children's and youth services. Afterwards, the mobile play unit made regular weekend stops in Georgenhausen, Zeilhard, Spachbrücken, and Ueberau. There, children could play, exercise, and spend time together free of charge.
A regular part of many events
The mobile play unit was also present at several city events. These included the Reinheim town festival , the KidsArea at the Reinheim market, and the "Children's Stage" project .
The mobile play unit celebrated the end of its season at the Reinheim holiday games, where it was once again a popular meeting place for the participating children.
A continuation is planned for next year
Mayor Manuel Feick expressed his delight at the overwhelming response. He stated that the mobile play unit brings play, exercise, and social interaction directly to the city's neighborhoods and is being very well received by families. He thanked the city's youth officer, Nico Volz , as well as all the supporters.
Following the successful season, the city plans to send the mobile play unit on tour again next year in Reinheim and its districts.
