A rescheduled concert in the Herrngarten complements the summer program in Darmstadt
The Darmstadt Promenade Concerts will offer a particularly extensive program in August 2026. In addition to the six regularly scheduled concerts, the performance by the Swing Sound Orchestra, which was cancelled due to weather on June 28th, will also be rescheduled.
The event kicks off on Sunday, August 2nd, at 11 a.m. with the band Gersprenz Valley at Kiosk 1975 in the Postsiedlung housing estate. The venue is Kiosk 1975, and the event is a collaboration with the association "Zusammen in der Postsiedlung" (Together in the Postsiedlung).
Also on August 2nd, starting at 4 pm, NoCountry under the canopy of leaves in the rose garden on Rosenhöhe. The event is organized by the City of Darmstadt in cooperation with the Friends of Rosenhöhe Park association.
On Sunday, August 9th, the gospel ensemble Soli 7 will perform at 11 a.m. at the bandstand in the Herrngarten. The rescheduled concert of the Swing Sound Orchestra , which had to be cancelled at the end of June due to weather conditions, will also take place there at 4 p.m.
The event continues on Sunday, August 16th, at 4 pm with Fritz Stock and friends on the lakeside stage at the Brentano meadow in Kranichstein.
On Sunday, August 23rd, Mammas & Babbas will perform at 11 a.m. at the bandstand in the Herrngarten.
The event concludes on Sunday, August 30th, at 1 p.m. with a performance by the band WattNu in the café-beer garden at the House of Clubs in Eberstadt. The Eberstadt district administration and the Eberstadt beer garden are cooperation partners.
The City of Darmstadt points out that the events will take place outdoors. Weather-related changes are therefore possible at any time. Visitors should also observe the recommendations for heat protection.
