Three teams from Pfungstadt finished in second, fourth and sixth place
The TSV gymnasts from Pfungstadt achieved second, fourth, and sixth place with three teams at this year's district team championships. In the final at the beginning of September, the team secured the silver medal in the open-age LK3 class.
After the first round of competition at the end of May, the Pfungstadt women had already established a good starting position. Two teams were in second place, and another team was in fourth. However, the gaps to the competition were small.
Due to the high number of participants in the district, the decisive competition was spread over two days. The TSV teams competed on vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise.
TSV gymnasts defend silver place in LK3
In both P5 competitions, the order changed in the finals. The qualifying team of the 2015 age group and younger, which competed with compulsory exercises P5, finished the district team championships in fourth place.
The second P5 team competed in the preliminary competition for children born in 2014 and later. The team finished in sixth place.
The oldest TSV gymnasts competed in the open-age LK3 class, performing optional routines. Despite difficulties on the vault and uneven bars, the team defended their second place from the first round and won the silver medal.
