Karate division of TV 1893 Seeheim at the summer camp in Rheinmünster
Members of the karate division of TV 1893 Seeheim e.V. enjoyed a sporty and varied weekend at the karate summer camp of KSV Sachsenheim e.V. at the Oberrhein leisure center in Rheinmünster-Stollhofen. The focus was on intensive training sessions, exchanging ideas with karate practitioners from different styles, and the shared camp experience.
For 19 years, the summer camp has brought together karate practitioners from different associations. In addition to training, the event offers an opportunity to exchange experiences and make new contacts.
Self-defense and shared camp experience
A highlight was the self-defense course with Jürgen Kestner (8th Dan). Over two days, he taught practical techniques and provided numerous tips for self-defense. Despite summer temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius, the training sessions maintained a focused and motivated atmosphere.
The group stayed overnight at the campsite right next to the lake, which provided welcome refreshment after the strenuous training sessions. After a stormy start, the weather turned summery. The participants began the last day of camp with a group yoga session.
The Oberrhein leisure center, with its lakeside location and natural surroundings, offered ideal conditions for the training camp. Sport, relaxation, and community could be easily combined there.
The karate department of TV 1893 Seeheim eV has already decided: they would like to stay longer at the next summer camp.
