The Protestant Church invites you to personal moments of blessing on August 10th at Luisenplatz and Böllenfalltor
At the start of the new school year, the Protestant Deanery of Darmstadt students, teachers, parents, and all interested parties to a special blessing event. On Monday, August 10, the first day of school after the summer holidays, personal blessings will be offered at two central locations in Darmstadt.
From 12 to 13:30, teams of Protestant pastors, community educators and volunteers from the Protestant Youth Darmstadt can be found at the Böllenfalltor stop and on Luisenplatz .
Visitors can receive a personal blessing or take a blessing card with them. There is also the opportunity for a brief conversation or a prayer together.
The campaign is aimed at everyone who wants to start the new school year with confidence, hope and good wishes – regardless of whether they themselves go to school or accompany the start of the school year as parents, teachers or relatives.
The initiative is the responsibility of “FEST im Leben”, the innovation office of the Protestant Deanery of Darmstadt, under the direction of Pastor Astrid Maria Horn, in cooperation with the Protestant City Youth Ministry.
