On October 3rd, the city administration and city archives will present how municipal administration and local democracy have developed

Registration is required by September 29.
The approximately two-hour tour is a repeat of the event of the same name from March 22, 2026. It begins at the site of the old town hall dating from the 17th century. The meeting point is the entrance of the Zöllerhannes building on Oberndorfer Straße.
A guided tour of Griesheim's town halls leads to three locations
From the first meeting point, the city archives team leads the participants to Place Bar-le-Duc. The former town hall building there was occupied by the city administration in 1900.
The final stop is the current town hall on Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße. There, the focus is on how local democracy functions today and continues to develop.
The tour is generally scheduled to take place even in the rain. Should there be any changes, the city will provide information in the city's event calendar and on the registration page.
