The performance and exhibition showcase ideas for greater cultural participation
To conclude the first phase of the "Anders.Gemeinsam – Komplizenschaft für Vielfalt" (Different.Together – Complicity for Diversity) project , the Freie Szene Darmstadt e. V. (Darmstadt Independent Arts Association) invites you to "INKLUDO – An Afternoon with Performance and Walk-Through Exhibition" at the Theater Moller Haus on Saturday, September 5th . The event begins at 3 pm and is aimed at visitors aged eight and up .
In this inclusive project, people with and without intellectual disabilities explored the Centralstation cultural center, the Hessian State Museum in Darmstadt , and venues of the independent arts scene together. In doing so, they examined barriers and developed ideas on how cultural participation can become more natural for everyone.
Art makes experiences and perspectives visible
The closing event combines a performance with a walk-through exhibition. Objects, texts, photographs, and other works created during the project will be on display. The performance captures the experiences, thoughts, and visions of the participants and brings them to the stage.
The event invites participants to explore different perspectives and discuss how culture can be made more inclusive.
