Karate course with Efthimios Karamitsos at TV Seeheim
The karate division of TV 1893 Seeheim eV once again hosted a nationwide karate training course with national coach Efthimios Karamitsos on April 18th. The event took place in the hall at the dune in Seeheim.
Focus on hip movements and kata training
The focus of the three training sessions was on improving hip movements. This was practiced using various katas – fixed sequences of movements against an imaginary opponent.
Both beginners with orange belts and experienced karate practitioners participated in the training course. Participants traveled from all over Germany.

Successful Dan examinations in Seeheim
Following the training course, Kyu and Dan examinations took place. The examinations were conducted under the watchful eyes of national coach Karamitsos and dojo head Karl-Heinz Griebenow (7th Dan).
Two karateka from Seeheim also passed their exams successfully: Patrick Lebrecht now holds the black belt, Tim Graumann received his second Dan.
Thanks to the volunteer helpers
Volunteers from the karate department provided refreshments for the guests, including cakes and other food. The club expressed its sincere gratitude to all those who supported the event and contributed to its success.
