Road closures and shuttle service from August 14th to 18th, 2025
Weiterstadt. On the occasion of the 49th Open-Air Film Festival at Braunshardter Tännchen, which takes place from August 14th to 18th, 2025 , there will be changes to the traffic management.
- Braunshardter Weg is completely closed from the junction with Klein-Gerauer Weg to the railway underpass
- Büttelborner Weg is also impassable from the area of the parking lots opposite the tennis courts towards the forest from Am Aulenberg
- Access to Braunshardter Tännchen is via the one-way street system Am Aulenberg – Klein-Gerauer Weg.
In addition, the city is offering a free shuttle bus service from Thursday to Sunday in cooperation with HEAG mobilo . The bus departs from Mathildenplatz, stop 13, via Darmstadt Central Station directly and without intermediate stops to the festival grounds at Braunshardter Tännchen – and back.
A temporary bus stop will be set up for this purpose in the area of Klein-Gerauer Weg / corner of Braunshardter Weg .
