Riccardo Riversa will be deputy. Marco Krolzyk is stepping down after five years.
Markus Rossmann is the new chairman of the Seeheim fire brigade association. At the annual general meeting on October 30, 2026, members elected him to succeed Marco Krolzyk, who had led the association since 2021. Riccardo Riversa is the new vice-chairman. He succeeds Christopher Schneider, who remains on the board as an assessor.
Nina Reckling will take over the position of secretary, and Peter Fieber will become press officer. Yannick Ramge was elected as an additional board member. Thomas Schneider stepped down as a board member after many years of service.
Seeheim Fire Brigade Association gains 131 supporting members
In his latest annual report, Krolzyk looked back on the year 2025. At the end of the year, the association had 743 members, including 177 active and 566 supporting members. During the year, 131 new supporting members joined.
In addition to promoting fire prevention and youth work, the association financed new equipment for the operational unit. This included additional turnout gear, a cordless reciprocating saw, a cordless impact wrench, and other equipment for technical assistance.
The event program included Firefighters' Day with the handover of the new TLF 4000 fire engine, participation in the Seemer Kerb (local fair), and catering at the after-work market. Due to the ongoing renovation of the fire station, some traditional events had to be cancelled.
Donation for firefighters in need
Prior to the board elections, the association presented a check for 500 euros to the Wilfried Köbler Fire Brigade Foundation. This foundation supports, among others, firefighters and their families in times of need. Rainer Anders accepted the donation on behalf of the foundation. He expressed his gratitude for the support and encouraged other fire brigades in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district to follow suit.
Solidarity remains an important concern
In his farewell address, Krolzyk thanked the board, the firefighters, and all supporters for their cooperation. He particularly emphasized the dedication of his former deputy, Christopher Schneider. He noted that cohesion and camaraderie had characterized his five-year term.
Rossmann and Riversa praised the work of the outgoing board. The new chairman emphasized the importance of mutual trust and good cooperation. Together with the board, he intends to continue the club's work, introduce new initiatives, and strengthen camaraderie.
