The city of Griesheim requests information
Plants in Griesheim have once again been targeted by vandals. In the southwest residential area, employees of the municipal works department discovered in recent weeks that perennials and shrubs had been uprooted and discarded from newly planted flowerbeds. Numerous plants had already been destroyed in this way in May.
The damage not only causes additional costs but also detracts from the appearance of the newly landscaped green spaces. Deliberately uprooting plants constitutes an administrative offense and can be punished with a fine of up to €5,000
Information on damaged plants
The city of Griesheim is asking residents for their help in investigating these incidents. Anyone who makes suspicious observations should inform the public order office. Information about the location, time, and any photos or other evidence is particularly helpful.

Damaged or uprooted plants can also be reported via the city's online reporting system at www.griesheim-gestalten.de . This will allow the damage to be repaired as quickly as possible
