Parks Department presents popular rose varieties
The Darmstadt Parks Department invites you to a guided tour of the Rosarium on Rosenhöhe Darmstadt on Friday, June 12, 2026.
Tour through the rose garden
The guided tour “Modern Roses on the Rosenhöhe” starts at 2 pm at the entrance to the Rosarium on Ludwig-Engel-Weg.
The focus is on 136 floribunda and hybrid tea roses from various breeders, planted in the rose garden's display beds. During the tour, particularly robust and popular rose varieties will be presented.
Tips on care and cutting
Participants will also receive information on planting, caring for, and pruning roses. Individual questions about the plants will also be answered.
The tour lasts about two hours and is free of charge.
As the number of participants is limited to 15 people, the Parks Department requests registration by telephone at 06151/13-2900.
