With the start of the school holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia on the weekend of July 12-14, 2025, the Autobahn GmbH des Bundes (Federal Highway Company) a significant increase in travel traffic throughout Germany. Numerous German states and parts of the Netherlands are already on summer break – consequently, traffic congestion on German highways is increasing.
According to forecasts, the most affected routes will be the classic travel routes heading south, as well as those to the North and Baltic Season Friday, July 11th, and Saturday, July 12this heavy traffic congestion expected
