Free holiday activity shows how animals learn
To coincide with the start of the school year, the Vivarium Zoo in Darmstadt invites first-graders to a special discovery tour. The guided tour "How Animals Learn" will take place on Tuesday, August 11th , and Thursday, August 13th, 2026, at 2 pm each day .
During the approximately 45-minute guided tour, the first-graders learn in an age-appropriate way how animals learn, adapt to their environment and develop new behaviors.
Participation is free for children. Accompanying adults pay the regular zoo admission fee. The meeting point is at the Zoo Vivarium's zoo school.
As the number of participants is limited, the zoo requests prior telephone registration at 06151 13-46900.
