Mowing is intended to ensure water quality and ecological balance
Visitors to the Arheilger Mühlchen lake should expect restrictions on Thursday, June 18th. Due to mowing work on the underwater plants, swimming will only be possible to a limited extent until approximately 5 pm.
Plant growth is specifically reduced
The work is intended to limit excessive growth of aquatic plants. The aim is to maintain the ecological balance of the body of water and to ensure good bathing water quality for as long as possible during the summer season.
These measures are carried out regularly to ensure the use of the popular bathing water even during the summer months.
Restrictions until the afternoon
Swimming at the Arheilger Mühlchen is restricted during mowing operations. Swimming should be fully permitted again after the work is completed around 5 p.m.
