Five high-quality bicycles in Darmstadt have not yet been linked to any theft
Darmstadt police are searching for the rightful owners of five confiscated bicycles. The bicycles were discovered in mid-May in a backyard on Kasinostraße.
Twelve bicycles found in hiding place
Police officers found a total of twelve high-quality, and in some cases nearly new, bicycles on May 15th at around 3:30 p.m. Investigators were alerted to the hiding place by a tracking device attached to one of the bicycles.
According to the police, seven of the seized bicycles have now been linked to specific crimes and returned to their owners.
Origin of five wheels still unclear
The origin of the remaining five bicycles has not yet been determined. Therefore, the police are now appealing to the public and releasing photos of the recovered bicycles.
Anyone who recognizes their bicycle in the pictures or can provide information about the origin of the bicycles is asked to contact the police.
