135 children transform the circus ring into a large construction site over four days
With "Awesome Stories," the children's and youth project Circus Waldoni will present a new program in September. 135 children aged between ten and 14 will transform the circus tent in Darmstadt-Eberstadt into a construction site and combine the story with juggling, acrobatics, unicycling, and other circus disciplines.
The story centers on a construction site where various trades must work together to ensure everything is finished on time. However, things don't always go according to plan: the crane breaks down or the tools don't fit – challenges that the young performers skillfully and humorously incorporate into the production.
From aerial acrobatics to unicycling
The program combines the construction site story with various circus disciplines. The children demonstrate juggling, human pyramids, ball walking, aerial acrobatics, diabolo, and unicycling, among other things .
The performance will be accompanied musically by the Waldoni Band. Food and drinks will also be available at the events.
“Hammer Stories” is aimed at children and adults and will be shown over two weekends with a total of four performances .
Four performances in September
The performances will take place on September 19th and 20th, as well as on September 26th and 27th, at 4 pm in the Waldoni Circus tent, Grenzallee 4–6 in Darmstadt-Eberstadt.
