The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Riedstadt donates 400 euros – 218 participants, visitors and helpers at the run in Goddelau
Under the motto "Meet – Walk – Help," the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Riedstadt organized a charity walk at the Am Hanfgraben sports field in Goddelau. Part of the proceeds benefited the Goddelau youth fire brigade.
According to Ahmad Nadeem, chairman of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Riedstadt, a total of 218 runners, spectators, and volunteers were present at the sports grounds. A starting fee of five euros was charged for the children's races, which were divided by age group, while adults paid ten euros.
400 euros for the youth fire brigade
The main focus of the event, besides the races, was fundraising. Of the proceeds, €400 went to the Goddelau youth fire brigade. A further 20 percent of the proceeds were earmarked for Humanity First Germany.
Fire Chief Marcus Schramm and Deputy Youth Leader Christopher Stein accepted the donation for the youth fire brigade during the awards ceremony.

First City Councillor Richard Kraft attended the event representing the mayor. He thanked the participants on behalf of the city for their commitment and presented the trophies to the fastest runners.
