The first meeting in the REWE parking lot should not be a one-off event
The first open day for childminders in Brensbach was a great success. In the REWE parking lot, childminders, as well as representatives from the youth welfare office and the AWO (Workers' Welfare Association), provided information about the work of childminders and invited families to a fun-filled afternoon.
Child day care introduces itself
With great enthusiasm, Ingeborg and Reinhold Stämmler from the Sonnenschein day care group, together with Elke Riebel, presented the diverse tasks and opportunities of childminding. They were supported by the AWO (Workers' Welfare Association) and the youth welfare office.
The aim of the event was to introduce parents, grandparents and interested parties to the personal and family-oriented care provided in child day care and to enable direct discussions.
Interactive program for children
There were plenty of activities for the young visitors. Besides colorful balloons and soap bubbles, the program included painting, modeling clay, dancing, and various games. The little jumping frogs were especially popular and delighted the children.
The Sonnenschein day group had prepared the event with great attention to detail and created a family atmosphere.
Mayor visits the day of action
Rainer Müller and other community representatives also visited the site to learn more about the services offered. Many visitors took the opportunity to have personal conversations about childcare options.
The organizers draw a positive conclusion and can imagine holding the event regularly in the future.
