Program on April 25th and 26th in the city center
The event season in Darmstadt kicks off at the end of April with the mobility exhibition "Darmstadt Mobil". The event takes place on April 25th and 26th, 2026, in conjunction with the Darmstadt Spring Fair.
On Sunday, April 26, shops in the city center will also be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Mobility in focus in the city center
As part of "Darmstadt Mobil," numerous exhibitors present their products and services related to modern mobility. Bicycles, Vespas, and classic cars, among other things, can be seen in the marketplace.
Darmstadt's bicycle shops are presenting new models to coincide with the start of the season. Several car dealerships are also showcasing their latest vehicles and providing information on trends and technological developments. Visitors can receive on-site advice and experience the vehicles up close.
Day of Electromobility
A key component is the 9th Day of Electromobility on Sunday. Exhibitors from businesses and institutions will present vehicles, products, and services related to alternative drive systems in the marketplace.
The event is organized by the City of Science Darmstadt, the Electromobility Network and the Darmstadt Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
Spring fair with rides and culinary delights
At the same time, the Darmstadt Spring Fair invites visitors to its stalls on Friedensplatz and Karolinenplatz until May 3rd. There, guests can expect a diverse range of attractions, including rides, food stalls, and a market selling pottery and other goods.
The range extends from classic attractions such as bumper cars and Ferris wheel to culinary offerings such as crêpes, churros, potato pancakes or international specialties.
Offers for families
In addition to its focus on mobility, "Darmstadt Mobil" also offers a family-friendly program. The "KinderKiste" (Children's Box) in the Carree invites children to play on weekends, with face painting on Sundays as well.
The landmark Ludwig Monument and White Tower are also open to visitors on Sunday.
