The district of Groß-Gerau invites choirs to participate in a concert evening at the district administration office
The Groß-Gerau district is once again demonstrating its commitment to promoting choral singing: All adult choirs based in the district can now apply for the "Evening of Choirs" in autumn 2025. The event is being organized in cooperation with the Groß-Gerau Savings Bank Foundation.
The concert will take place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Groß-Gerau District Office. All types of choirs, provided they can present a repertoire of two 15-minute pieces without technical assistance (e.g., playback). A panel of experts will select three choirs to perform at the concert.
The selected choirs will receive a performance fee and will also receive a share of the event's proceeds. Choirs that received funding last year are not eligible to participate in the current edition.
