The 14th edition shows current cycling, mountain biking and hiking routes
The 14th edition of the official Darmstadt/Dieburg leisure map is now available. It is published by the City of Darmstadt and the Darmstadt-Dieburg district. The updated map provides an overview of cycling, mountain biking, and hiking tours in Darmstadt, the Darmstadt-Dieburg district, and the surrounding regions.
In addition to tried-and-tested leisure routes, the new edition includes numerous updates. For example, the cycling and mountain biking routes signposted by the Bergstraße-Odenwald Geo-Nature Park shown with their respective lengths, which simplifies tour planning. The updated hiking trails of the Odenwald Club and the new information boards at the parking areas of the Geo-Nature Park's circular hiking trails have also been included.
Furthermore, the leisure map shows the forest rescue points of the South Hessian forestry offices. These make it easier for rescue workers to orient themselves and locate injured people in an emergency. The map is supplemented by information on tourist attractions, leisure facilities, and restaurants in the region.
The leisure map is available for €5 in bookstores. Larger quantities can also be ordered from the Darmstadt surveying office
