Activity afternoon for girls aged six and over on May 8th
The city of Darmstadt, a center of science and research, invites girls to the "Girls' Garden" in the Herrngarten park on Friday, May 8th. From 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm, the adventure playground will be transformed into a space for experiences and activities – exclusively for girls aged six and up.
Creative and sporty participatory program
The event is organized by the city's girls' working group in cooperation with the youth services department of the youth welfare office. The program includes a diverse range of creative and movement-oriented activities:
- Face painting and glitter tattoos
- Dancing and rope skipping
- Screen printing, string art and craft activities
- Quiz and Wheel of Fortune
- bouncy castles and play equipment
A chill-out area is also available for rest breaks.
Space for exchange and self-development
The "Girls' Garden" aims to create a safe space where participants can freely develop and experiment. Mayor Barbara Akdeniz will be the patron and will give a welcoming address at 4 p.m.
Free participation without registration
Participation in the event is free and no registration is required. Foodsharing Darmstadt eV will provide food and drinks using donated food.
