Pumpkin carving, sewing workshop and wheel of fortune on October 31st
Spooky costumes, hand-carved pumpkins, and creative craft activities: The KAGEL secondhand store in Darmstadt invites you to a Halloween party on Saturday, October 31, 2026. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors can expect a diverse program at Pallaswiesenstraße 122, including interactive activities, a costume area, and a prize wheel.
The event will feature two creative activities. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., participants can carve Halloween pumpkins. Following this, from 1:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m., a sewing workshop will be open. There, under the guidance of an expert, participants can create fabric ghosts and pumpkins from donated materials.
Costumes, photo booth and prizes at the wheel of fortune
To celebrate Halloween, KAGEL offers a costume area with items from its donated inventory. A photo booth provides an opportunity to capture the costumes.
A prize wheel is also part of the program. Every visitor gets one free spin. Anyone who comes to the Halloween party in costume gets an extra spin.
Prizes include self-assembled surprise bags, sweets, fresh popcorn, coffee and cake, as well as books, CDs and records from the department store's selection. Shopping discounts will also be raffled off.
There are no losers: Every spin of the wheel of fortune brings a win.
Secondhand department store continues to accept donations
KAGEL combines the sale of used goods with the reuse of donated items. Clothing and other items suitable for resale are accepted. Within Darmstadt, the store also offers a collection service for such donations.
In addition, the range of services includes household clearances, partial clearances, and carrying and transport assistance.
