Various types of hazardous waste from households can be dropped off at the EAD's mobile hazardous waste collection service. These include, for example, paints, thinners, impregnating agents, and wood and rust preservatives.
Cosmetics, spray cans, household and toilet cleaners, and limescale removers are also accepted.
In addition, pesticides, insecticides, mercury-containing thermometers and switches, and energy-saving lamps can be dropped off at the mobile hazardous waste collection point.
Acceptance is limited to smaller quantities.
The hazardous waste collection vehicle will not take this waste
Not all problematic waste can be disposed of via mobile collection. Dispense paints, primers, undercoats, and adhesives are excluded.
Used oil, car batteries and electronic waste are also not accepted at the mobile hazardous waste collection point.
These materials can be disposed of at the EAD's special waste collection point at Sensfelderweg 33.
The opening hours of the collection point are:
Tuesday and Friday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Wednesday: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Every first Saturday of the month: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
