New construction phase planned from April 29th with full closure
Construction work on the L3100 state road in Seeheim-Jugenheim is progressing. Hessen Mobil has announced that the next phase of construction will begin on Wednesday, April 29th, in the town of Jugenheim.
New section between fire station and main road
The current construction phase between the fire station access road and the Bahnhofstraße intersection is nearing completion. Work will then continue to the intersection with the main road (K146).
The new section is scheduled to take approximately seven months to build. The work will continue to be carried out under a full road closure.
Traffic diversions
Through traffic will continue to be diverted via the B3 federal highway. Local traffic will be diverted via Ludwigstraße and Hauptstraße.
The access road to the volunteer fire department remains open from the north.
Extensive infrastructure renewal
As part of the project, the road surface will be completely renewed over a length of approximately 1.1 kilometers. For this purpose, the road will be excavated to a depth of about 50 centimeters and then rebuilt.
In addition to the road surface, street drains, utility lines, and curbs will also be renewed. Furthermore, a new median strip will be constructed at the town's exit towards Alsbach.
At the same time, sidewalks and adjacent areas are being repaired. Sewer, water, and utility lines are also being renewed on behalf of the municipality.
Costs of approximately 5.8 million euros
The total cost of the construction project amounts to approximately 5.8 million euros. The project involves the state of Hesse, the municipality of Seeheim-Jugenheim, the municipal utilities, and other service providers.
