Maintenance work will cause detours on the B 426 from July 20th to 24th
Motorists should expect nightly closures of the Lohberg Tunnel on the B 426 during the week of Monday, July 20th, to Friday, July 24th. Hessen Mobil has issued this warning.
The tunnel will be completely closed to traffic from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. each day. This is due to routine cleaning and maintenance work as well as functional tests of the tunnel's technical systems
During the closures, traffic heading towards Darmstadt will be diverted via the B 449. Traffic heading towards Ober-Ramstadt will be diverted via Waschenbach (K 138), Frankenhausen (K 137) and Nieder-Modau (L 3099).
Hessen Mobil asks road users to observe the signposted diversions and to allow more time for journeys in the evening and night hours.
