Changed traffic flow is intended to relieve the residential area
A new traffic pattern is now in effect on the street "Auf der Marienhöhe" . The city of Darmstadt has implemented a one-way system there. Access is now only possible via the street "Am Steinern Kreuz"
The measure aims to divert school traffic specifically via Alte Bogenschneise and Cooperstraße . The goal is to noticeably reduce through traffic in the adjacent residential area
According to the city, the necessary signage has already been fully installed.
The Mobility and Civil Engineering Office acknowledges that the affected residents were not informed of the change in a timely manner. The city apologizes for this oversight and the resulting inconvenience.
