W. Christian Schmitt presents his new book – a conversation with Frank Schuster about journalism in transition
On Thursday, November 20, 2025 , the Keller-Klub Darmstadt invites you on a journey through the city's recent history . Journalist and author W. Christian Schmitt , who lived in Darmstadt for many years and has close ties to the city, will present his new book , "Homecoming to Darmstadt? My Memories of the City, the People, and the Culture," that evening .
A conversation about journalism and cultural memory
Following the reading, there will be a discussion entitled "Journalism Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow" with Echo journalist Frank Schuster (born 1969), whose novel "Büchner Sixty-Nine" recently caused a stir. Musical accompaniment for the evening will be provided by Hans-Werner Brun.
