Construction work is affecting traffic and bus routes in Waldstraße and Frankfurter Straße
Due to construction work, Waldstraße and Frankfurter Straße in Groß-Gerau will be completely closed on Tuesday, August 4th . This will affect both road traffic and several bus routes.
The section of Waldstraße between house number 8 and the junction of Annastraße/Frankfurter Straße closed.
On Frankfurter Straße, the complete closure affects the section between Walburgastraße and the intersection of Fabrikstraße/Sudetenstraße. Access to Walburgastraße remains possible.
Buses will be rerouted
The closure will also affect public transport. On August 4th, buses will not be able to follow their usual routes. The "Europakreisel" and "Groß-Gerau Stadtmitte" will be completely out of service that day.
Passengers are asked to use nearby stops.
No stopping for the detour
To ensure the bus diversion runs smoothly, the city is implementing a no-stopping zone on Fabrikstraße and Mainzer Straße opposite house numbers 43 to 51 on August 4th .
The city asks road users to prepare for the restrictions and to avoid the area if possible.
