The Darmstadt-Dieburg Local Politics Association has elected a new board
The CDU's local elected officials in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district met for the general assembly of the Local Politics Association (KPV). In addition to reports from the CDU district parliamentary group chairman, Maximilian Schimmel, and the first deputy district administrator, Lutz Köhler, the election of a new board was on the agenda.
Stefan Sauerwein from Dieburg was elected as the new chairman. Astrid Geiß from Groß-Zimmern and the mayor of Messel, Dr. Thorsten Buhrmester, will serve as his deputies on the board.
New board of directors of the KPV elected
Seeheim-Jugenheim is also represented on the new KPV district board. CDU local politician Max Panhans was elected as one of five assessors. The board also includes Erich Glott from Groß-Bieberau, Schaafheim mayor Daniel Rauschenberger, Marie-Luise Sudhoff from Groß-Umstadt, and Andre Wunder-Seban from Pfungstadt as assessors.
The KPV sees itself as the CDU's local political network. It advocates for strengthening towns and municipalities and for the exchange of experience among local elected officials. Furthermore, it supports local political groups with legal issues and offers seminars on committee work.
After the meeting, Max Panhans expressed his delight at his election: "I will bring my experience from ten years of local political work to the board. I am sure that I can make further contacts that will be helpful for my work in Seeheim-Jugenheim."
