The city is resurfacing the road between Roßdörfer Straße and Soderstraße – work is expected to last until September 25th
Beckstrasse in Darmstadt will be undergoing renovation from Wednesday, September 9, 2026, between Roßdörfer Strasse and Soderstrasse. The work is part of the City of Darmstadt's 2026 road renovation program and is expected to last until Friday, September 25.
In addition to the road renovation, the drainage facilities will also be renewed in this section.
No access to properties during the construction period
For the duration of the construction work, Beckstraße will be completely closed in the affected section. Access to adjacent properties will also be impossible during this time. The city states that affected residents will be informed in a timely manner.
The footpaths are not affected by the construction work and can still be used.
The city estimates the cost of the renovation at around 85,000 euros gross.
