JETZTMUSIK! invites you to two events in Darmstadt on September 13th and 20th
with two forest music events in September. On September 13th, two concerts featuring guitar and flute will be presented, followed on September 20th by a musical tree portrait tour through the forest. Admission to both events is free.
The concert project takes up the theme of this year's International Forest Art Trail, "Democratic Forest." The focus is on the relationship between humans, forests, and nature, as reflected in music from different eras and cultures.
JETZTMUSIK! has been organizing cross-era and multimedia concert programs with a focus on contemporary music since 2012.
Guitar and flute in the forest art village
At the Forest Music I concert on Sunday, September 13th, guitarist Gvaneta Betaneli and flautist Dessislava Schell will perform. The two concerts begin at 4 pm and 5:30 pm. The program includes works that explore themes of nature, forests, and trees.
The venue is the forest art village on the International Forest Art Trail in the Böllenfalltor forest district in Darmstadt-Bessungen on Klappacher Straße.
Musical portraits of trees
A week later, on Sunday, September 20th, at 4 pm, "Forest Music II" combines music with a guided tour through the forest. During the "Musical Tree Portrait Tour," various trees will be interpreted musically.
The performers include cellist Colin Ames, guitarist Gvaneta Betaneli, flautist Dessislava Schell, and saxophonist and JETZTMUSIK! founder Susanne Resch. Forester Matthias Kalinka from the Darmstadt Forestry Office will supplement the program with information about the individual trees.
The meeting point is the information stand of the Forest Art Trail at the forest car park in the Böllenfalltor forest district on Klappacher Straße. Information and a map are also available there.
Admission to both events is free. Further information is available by email at susanne.resch@jetztmusik.de and on the JETZTMUSIK! website.
