Public closing event for the transport development plan on June 24th
The City of Darmstadt invites citizens to the public closing event of the "ZukunftMobil" project. The event, focusing on the Integrated Transport Development Plan for Darmstadt, will take place on Wednesday, June 24, starting at 6 p.m. in the Justus Liebig House. Registration is not required.
Results and measures will be presented
The event will focus on the project's key findings, the target system for future mobility development, and the resulting action plan. Key measures to be implemented in the coming years will also be presented.
The “ZukunftMobil” project aims to define the strategic direction of mobility in Darmstadt for the coming years and to better link different modes of transport.
Panel discussion with experts
Another item on the agenda is a moderated panel discussion. Mobility officer Paul Georg Wandrey will discuss the project's results, its implementation, and the next steps with experts.
The focus is on how the proposed measures can contribute to improving quality of life, protecting the climate and providing more attractive mobility options.
Participation process as a basis
“With the ZukunftMobil project, we have reached an important milestone for the future development of transport in our city, in the interest of achieving mobility peace,” explains Head of Mobility Paul Georg Wandrey. The perspectives contributed by citizens, experts, and politicians during the participatory process provide an important basis for balanced and sustainable solutions.
According to the city, the closing event is intended to provide a forum for information, exchange, and discussion. It is aimed at interested citizens as well as representatives from politics, administration, and business.
