Darmstadt-based association reports record donations and confirms board at members' meeting
The Darmstadt-based association "Musicians Help Children" has raised a total of €107,000 for children's organizations and projects since the start of its fundraising activities, according to its own figures. This year alone, €14,153 was raised – a new annual record, according to the association. At the members' meeting on September 4th, the board was also re-elected.
The association has existed since 2010 and has been collecting donations since 2011. A key focus is on benefit concerts, the proceeds of which go to children's organizations and projects in Darmstadt.
14,153 euros this year
With this year's proceeds of €14,153, the total amount raised from the benefit concerts exceeded €100,000 for the first time. The association now puts the total amount raised since 2011 at €107,000.
Plans are already underway for the next benefit concert. It is scheduled to take place on November 6, 2027, at the Bessunger Knabenschule (Bessunger Boys' School ).
Board of Directors confirmed in office
At the annual general meeting on September 4th, Jürgen Galsheimer was re-elected as chairman. Andreas Trägler was also confirmed in his position as vice-chairman, as were Melanie Galsheimer and Birgit Lehn as treasurers, and Claudia Trägler as secretary.
The board members include Dominik Galsheimer, Andrea Horn, Jutta Rühl, Otto Schmidt, Petra Schmied, Siegmar Schmied and Justin Witzeck.
