The channel of the district administration will now be used for broadcasting
The Groß-Gerau district is taking another step towards a digital future and expanding its communication channels: Residents can now also stay informed about news and activities in the district via a WhatsApp channel. This is intended to further improve services for the population.
“In a time when social media and messaging services are an integral part of our daily lives, the introduction of a WhatsApp channel represents a modern and user-friendly way to stay informed. WhatsApp is one of the most popular communication platforms worldwide and has a large user base,” says District Administrator Thomas Will, who hopes the additional channel will provide even greater reach for news from his district.
Important information can be disseminated quickly and easily via this new channel. However, WhatsApp is by no means the only way to stay informed about county affairs. Press releases can, of course, be found on the website www.kreisgg.de, and the county administration's public relations team also uses Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube to reach as many people as possible. Direct communication with the administration via the WhatsApp channel is not possible, so no personal or sensitive data is requested.
Here's how to access the channel: Go to www.kreisgg.de or www.gemeinsam-grossartig.de and click the WhatsApp icon. Alternatively, scan the QR code on the district's homepage from your computer using your phone. The URL is also available there: www.whatsapp.com . And of course, activate the notification bell to stay informed about news and updates.
